   So, are these “up to” numbers? That is, I should look for the closest serial number that is greater than the one on my own machine, and then read to the left for the year? I’m not quite sure how to interpret this chart (though it’s incredibly useful.)

     My understanding of the NOMDA books is that they always list the serial number that started Jan 1 of that year, so the number listed would be the first manufactured that year up to the number listed for the next year.
