I’ve dealt with copying data from one format to another in a previous job and remember making the same discovery as you just did. Someone much wiser than I showed me a text-editor called TextPad that will display “invisible characters” that notepad and other text-editors won’t. Yes, once you know they are there, then it’s pretty easy to get rid of them. Keep up the good work. I don’t know how you find the time.
