  1. Some amazing photos here!

  2. Nice photos and camera. All you need is a good old-fashion pro/custom photo processing and printing house. All there is around here are a few one-hour photo places. I think the closest pro finisher is in Atlanta.

How much is the fire(s) contributing to the colors of the sunrise and sunset?

Hope you are far enough away the flames will not get to you.

    1. ahh, the fires. Every year they’re a constant summer blockbuster, but this year was awful with the loss of almost the entire Granite Mountain Hotshot crew (salute to those 19 brave firefighters). Here in the Valley there’s not much to burn for miles around the city, so Phoenix maintains it’s status as one of the least likely places on earth to die in a natural disaster. It’s the upland communities that get scorched yearly.

I suppose there might be some effect on the sunset lights, but the fires are probably too far away to really be much of a factor.

  3. You sure do have the luck. my thrifts never have good cameras. The only place i’d seen them on a shelf was that Goodwill in Portland. Sigh.

    1. I’m enjoying it while I can. I suspect it won’t be too long before Phoenix joins Tucson in shunting their really nice stuff over to shopgoodwill.com and the stores become bare of typewriters and lenses. At least there’s no risk of Deseret heading that direction.

  4. It’s a wonderful and also valuable item of facts. I am just grateful that you distributed this handy facts here. You should keep us current such as this. Thank you for giving.
