  1. Hahaha! I wondered if you’d give in and buy it.

  2. I like my Brother electrics, but I make a lot more typing errors on electrics because of how responsive the keys are. The typeface changability is my favorite feature. ~TH~

  3. I have been watching local thrift stores for an EP-20. I’m thinking I’d like to bring one home for sentimental reasons, and I like the kooky dot-matrix typeface.

  4. Where I could get an User guide for this Machine.

  5. Do you know where I can find some ribbon for this beauty?

    1. Only New Old Stock that’s 30 years old. Best just to use fax paper with no ribbon installed. It’s thermal.

  6. I just picked up my second EP5 so I thought I would check your blog to see if you had given it a whirl. I adore the fact that it works much more like a typewriter and doesn’t have the almost laughable calculator style keys. Hands down, it’s my favorite of the EP series. Using it just now, I think I might be ready to declare it the quietest typewriter. (For contrast, try the Casio Casiowriter CW-16, which is INSANELY loud.)
