I never noticed the knob on any of them. Now I need to look for it. My 1954 QDL did not have one.

Thank you so much, I’m going through a new QDL from Goodwill and wanted to get some writing done but whenever I pick the pace it skips and stutters. All I had to do was adjust the knob and it’s keeping up now!
