Great post. Typing onto hardcopy is indeed so satisfying. I’m appreciating more the two electric machines in my collection, even though they’re not daisy wheels.
I definitely see the attraction of these thermal/electronic devices from the ’80s. Lots of fun to use. I bought a Brother model (or was it Canon? too many brain cells ago!) in 1983 and typed journal entries on it for a few months. Sadly, all the text has faded away by now! Is there any way to “bring it back” to readable condition?
