Can you advise how to find the serial number on possible 1930’s area portable Smith-Corona typewriter. I don’t seem to be able to find one. Thanks
I haven’t got one to refer to, but if it has a lift-up ribbon cover, try looking around on the frame struts just underneath there. Smith-Corona generally engraved the serial number on the outside of the right-hand strut.
