NEWEST: Whoop! looks like the main “typewriterdatabase.com” domain is resolving again – due to a “short-term fix” implemented by Enom. When they verify that they have a “permanent fix” in place, I’ll switch the site’s config back to use the root domain again. (:

UPDATE: Site’s been down for 36 hours now, and I’ve noticed that some other services are being flaky. Apparently, it’s widespread among anyone who’s using Enom’s DNS service and occasionally affects even the root DNS services. Here’s an article with details:
On the upside, you can get to the site reasonably reliably using https://www.typewriterdatabase.com as the link.
Latest update from Enom – they’re starting to repeat themselves a lot:

Original Post:
Yes, I know TWDB is not working this weekend, it’s due to a poorly planned data center migration by the domain registrar which brought down their DNS nameservices. It’s all happening upstream from the server that I control, and the registrar’s support services are all offline, so I can’t even open a support ticket until they finish the migration, which was supposed to be done at midnight last night but has been extended to at least 9am this morning. Bleh. In any case, be assured it’s a temporary glitch – TWDB will be back soon. (:
The site is still down at 9:04 AM Pacific. So what’s the IP address of the TWDB? We don’t need no stinkin’ DNS!
IP address won’t help, but you can add “www” to the domain and get through. Assets and links will still be munged, though. Latest update is that they’ll be finished at noon today, but that’s the third “extended delay” so far, so who knows :D
Thank goodness everything appears to be back to normal again. Whew!
