Sir, I just wanted to tell you I just found and used your excellent typewriter database to identify a photo of script written by Chris Claremont circa 1987 (posted on Bluesky by Zach Rabiroff) as being most likely typed on a 1981 Silver Reed SR200.
Thanks for all your work on this excellent resource and I wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Mr. Rosales, I just wanted to jump in and say that your comment (and your finding) made my day. Claremont was always my fav back in my comic collectin’ days. And, like any good, obsessive nerd, I always wondered what machine he used to knock out those “Uncanny” scripts. Thanks for checking into it! ;-)
This was fun! I had my two older brothers over for Christmas Eve dinner and present opening. But we didn’t get any typing done!
I dunno that the result of such typing is ever more sensical than what gets left behind at type-ins. That’s what the tape recorder is for (:
I met my brother at me mum’s. We had turkey and ham with all the fixin’s. No typewriters…

It’s a fun detective game, no? :D
Happy Holidays!
