I was thinking up names for this blog and I think I have one I like. It’s the title of this post!
It’s inspired, of course by the title of Jeff Cooper‘s “To Ride, Shoot Straight and Speak the Truth“, which was one of his best books and required reading around the ranchito. I don’t happen to keep a horse, so it’s been modified to reflect the beasts I do ride – my Typewriters.
Hopefully I shall live up to the title and inspiration for the title by posting herein tidbits of wisdom I have learned in my years and, well, whatever happens to get spit out of my writin’ irons. Rest assured it will always be the TRUTH (for varying definitions of “truth”).
That said, here’s one where I hopelessly mis-spell a bunch of stuff due to my failing memory of made-up political insult words. Sheesh, you’d think I’ve lost touch with my extreme political beliefs (and you’d be mostly right).
