Nice work. I wondered how typing on a tripod would work after seeing the photo on Robert’s blog.
A 3/8 inch view camera mound may be more stable, but a view camera tripod would also be much heavier and bulkier.
You have inspired me to experiment with one of my skyriters on a tripod. Perfect for hiking and biking if the tripod is small and light enough yet made to be stable enough. A small piece of .090 or .120 inch thick
metal placed inside the typewriter bottom may work as a stifener.

Great photo, BUT, No, it is a Corona # 3. The typewriter says “COPRONA” on the vertiucal plate above the keys.
