I’m very excited to hear about the forthcoming Underwood Portable Bible. I have a 1956 Underwood De Luxe Quiet Tab that doesn’t type. The internal mechanics are very mysterious – I never could figure out what was wrong with it. Perhaps the Underwood Portable Bible will shed some light on that vintage of Underwood portable since it looks like the service manual material is from 1955.

yuh, it’s the 1924 adjustment manual and the 1955 adjustment manual that were the final 2 bits of the puzzle to fall into place. Already had 1945 (:
