Mail Call: A Reason to Make Custom Mini CD/DVD Envelopes

Daniel’s getting the very first Episode since I ran out of the regular mini-CD sleeves I was using and had to design and make my own. Much more time-consuming, but I designed the envelope template so I can attach the CD/DVD to the letter and have it open from the front. I also needed to be able to print on the *front*, so that meant splitting the print design in two and printing half on the flap. Also, I can make them from *very* heavy-duty card stock, to better protect the contents from the hazards of the mail system. I was so pleased with the result, I made a mini-remix of one of Gregory’s songs and snippets from audio letters he’s sent and tucked it in with the Tape Pals tape I have for him. Like Joe VC says; “Stay Creative! And then I got inspired to revive a cassette tape J-Card design I used to use for my band’s tapes in the 80’s. I call it the “8-Panel Bonanza“. You get almost a whole Letter-sized sheet full of liner notes, photos, etc, printed both sides, and it all fits in a cassette case! :D
