I’ve not used *any* of these tools before, but in about an hour, I was able to easily put together and edit a video. Very pleased about the performance of this old machine with MX Linux 19.
Two minutes and two seconds of compressed rambling for your enjoyment. So, what’s that all mean? I dunno, but I keep having this idea to do videos on what’s new in the typewriter world and maybe do explainers on various models and how to date them via TWDB and other sources. People do seem to like videos and often learn from them better than just looking at a tablized age list. At least now I know I can do such a thing. If I can screencast a game plus an inset headshot, then I can certainly do so with just web browser content. That’s an idea I’ll be playing with in ’20.

I’ve got to check out some of those programs. I’ve not played around with much video. Too many other irons in the fire. I use GIMP & the RawTherapee plug in for my digital imaging work. Darktable is nice too.
Videos on where serial numbers are located would be nice. I’ve done posts on serial number locations and they seem to be some of the more popular as many people do not know where serial numbers are located on their typewriters.
I have no idea what’s going on here, but if you make a video about typewriters I’ll probably tune in AND understand it!
