The SquigglyVision Version The Nishika N8000 3D 35mm Camera Bonus story snippet from Trent, “Batman’s F***ing Typewriter” (NSFC) Or maybe I replace the Itek with this entry from the “Pieces of Other People’s Lives” Series.
Currently in the earholes:
Gregory reminded me that I could use these as desktop backgrounds on some of the many vintage laptops and desktops I collect and play with. Here’s one on the 2008 HP Pavilion dv6815nr, and though it turns out that it doesn’t actually tile seamlessly, it does work on the 1200x800px screen by stretching a bit.
I really liked the previous propaganda style posters =(
I think, on principle, the background has to be something that the Right Reverend hisself has cooked up. No need to outsource such a crucial graphical element to what is so important to the world of typewriter peeps!
If not for your blog, you could always use them on the various desktops of your myriad machines. I rather like them, and it was certainly a thoughtful gesture. For fun, I just changed my desktop background to the one that’s mostly sepia. I suppose that would make more sense on the Munk Machine you sent me.
Hmmn, that’s a good idea – I just built a Win95osr2/98SE/ME boot/install CD and a WinXPsp3 boot/install USB stick this week and test installed them all on various test machines. They all need desktop backgrounds! :D
