Also, now that I have a stereo cassette deck again, I’ve been sampling old tapes I have in my collection. This one, which I think is from 1986, is a tape I recorded of a local band called “Six Flags over Jesus” (not the ones found in Google nowadays) at a bar called “Crash“. Recorded on a crappy 1980’s boom box in a terrible, boomy room, it is an example of that mid-80’s punk rock that I enjoyed so much back in my youth. Also found a tiny thumbnail of a flyer for a different show that year, when 6 Flags opened up for The Flaming Lips at The Metro. Looks like I scanned it long ago with a ripped-out lyric sheet stuck to it, so I know I have this flyer somewhere in my paper archives, but I’m too lazy to find it and scan it again, so here’s whatcha get!
