Hey, I just spent an evening with Guillermo (Ortbraker) in Buenos Aires and we tossed around the idea that Hunters could get extra points if they submitted a particularly rare machine. You’d get more points for submitting 10 photos of a Writing Ball than for submitting 10 photos of yet another Royal Quiet De Luxe. Not sure how this would work — or whether — but it might encourage a greater variety of uncommon machines. Just a thought. Great work with the Database!
TWDB is one of my favorite places on the web – thank you for all the blood, sweat and tears you pour into TWDB. You’ve made it a superb resource and helped build a really nice community there.

Congratulations! I planned to take typewriter photos today. Instead I spent all day trying to repair Mrs. M’s power wheelchair.
