A Totally Oly Week – a 1962 Olympus PEN-EE.S to go with my 1957 Olympia SM3

1962 Olympus PEN-EE.S Half-Frame 35mm camera.

Selenium Cell still good, shutter not sticky! (:

Fairly early one with “Olympus” across the front. later ones have “Olympus-PEN”

Five Bux!

Yep, put this on my Thrift Gods Wishlist on Feb 15, 2014.

to load it, you flip out the key screw and undo it. The whole bottom and back comes off so you can load/unload film. Wonder how many are missing their backs?

A totally Oly Week! :D

  1. You deserve a medal (OLYmpic) for your patience. :)

  2. Oli-im-ic. Nice combination.

  3. Awesome find! And all you need is an “OLYvetti” for an Oly triad (;

  4. They look like they were made for each other. Very nice!

  5. Very nice! Get a lens cap for it. I’ve read that the selenium cell around the lens can weaken if unnecessarily exposed to light. It might just be an old (photographer’s) wives tale, but I’ve played it safe by having caps on all three of my Trip 35s.
    Congrats on a beauty.
