Carl Zeiss lens, infrared capability at the touch of a button? the Sony DSC-F707 is highly sought after for it's infrared shooting capabilities. I sure hope it boots up when I can get the batteries charged. Stay tuned for details.

  1. I’ve never seen a mirror tube before. Very spiffy. The now ancient digitals ought to be fun. There is a lot of waste in the 12-18 month digital camera production cycle, but it assures that amazing technology falls like rain. My area has been pretty dry. Count me as jealous.

Old cameras are like crack cocaine. Good luck stopping!

  2. Nice 90 degree lens. I have not seen one of those in decades.
The Sony is a nice camera. All that is really needed for internet photos. I love the cameras that us regular batteries rather than proprietary stuff. Memory sticks are not as big of a problem as the proprietary cards like the ones for my Olympus or even xD cards.

  3. I’ve used those before, and they do have some great uses. Excellent find!

  4. That’s pretty neat stuff! The Sony looks like the one I still use at work for spec photos. It may be a different model but similar. I like that it has a peep viewfinder as well as the screen.
