Why it is impossible to keep cat hair out of typewriters…

Leoben, a muscular Bombay with a ridiculously wimpy, high-pitched voice (possibly due to hearing loss induced by the ear infections and earmite infestation he was suffering from when we found him) enjoys lounging behind whatever machine I happen to have on my desk.

Number 6, a Tortie mutt-cat, considers any typewriter lid left lying around to be the *perfect* place to curl up and sleep.

    I have a rule — no cats hanging out in my study — but the typewriters there still attract cat hair like magnets.

  4. I’ll be sticking to short-haired cats in future! ;)

  5. My typewriter cat is named Elliott and he insists on crawling into the lid of the typewriter case while I am typing on the machine. The long haired cats ignore the machines.
