Mail Call: A Letter & Postcard in, and Three Letters Out!

And don’t think for a moment that I didn’t notice the 3D Lenticular postage stamp that our Correspondent used. I can see she is reading the blog! :D These are the boxes that our Correspondent uses to store her, um, *dozens* of different stationery selections. I am confident now that I will never see the same thing twice. Postcard from Scotland from the Type Pals Postcard Exchange (I assume, but I don’t recall signing up this month)

  1. Oof, that wax seal was in the trenches. I’ve sent a good number through the mail (no special handling), and this might be the first that sustained significant damage. The 3rd page making envelope thicker than normal probably contributed. Still a pretty good delivery record.

Is the larger text the Vogue 10 element on 12 cpi spacing?
    Cool postcard!

    1. Yeah, seal got a little scuffed, but it all survived well inside. Yes, the larger text is 10 Pitch Vogue at 12 pitch – I typed a letter in 10 pitch and was too lazy to swap out the ball for the EDCN size page, which likes 12 pitch. (:

  2. Dang, I’m starting to get worried; I sent a letter over a week ago filled with all kinds of goodies. I guessed on the postage, so maybe it has been abducted by the postage police.

    1. Well, let’s give it a few days. People get worried, but I can’t recall an actual total loss in the mail. Damage, yes, but not total loss (:
